Dr Prevan Moodley is currently in the Department of Psychology at the University of Johannesburg, previously having been a lecturer at Vista University and the University of Pretoria, all in South Africa.
After completing two Masters degrees, an MA from Rhodes University and an MA (Psych) from the Rand Afrikaans University (RAU), Prevan obtained a DLitt et Phil from the University of Johannesburg.
His areas of teaching and research span several areas such as gender and sexuality, critical psychology, community psychology, critical health psychology, and evolutionary psychology.
Dr Moodley specializes in qualitative research methods.
Prevan assists the journal in keeping its 'Events of Interest in Qualitative Science' page up to date.
