: Professor Whitehead is the author of two books: Expanding the Category “Human”: Posthumanism, Nonhumanism, and Humanistic Psychology (Lexington Books, 2017); and Psychologizing: A Personal, Practice-based Approach to Psychology (Rowman & Littlefield, 2016).

Professor Whitehead regularly publishes his work in several international journals, including in The Humanistic Psychologist, the Journal of Phenomenological Psychology, and the Journal of Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology, among others.
