Roger Brooke is Professor of Psychology and Director of Military Psychological Services at Duquesne University. and from 1994-2007 was the Director of Clinical Training at DU.
He is on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology, and an honorary ("Affiliate") member of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. Roger is himself a Board Certified (ABPP) Clinical Psychologist and runs a private practice.
Roger completed his Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand and his doctorate at Rhodes University, South Africa, where he worked from 1982–1993.
Professor Brooke is the author of 'Jung and Phenomenology' (London, Routledge, 1991; Trivium, 2009) as well as contributing editor of the book 'Pathways into the Jungian World' (Routledge, 1999). Additionally, Roger has written a number of papers on phenomenology and psychotherapeutic issues.
Roger’s current interests include interpretations of analytical psychology, combat trauma, geropsychology, therapeutic process, and therapeutic outcomes research.
